Man admits to his role
in local
cocaine ring

A New Castle man pleaded guilty to a drug charge June 9, making him the latest conviction for federal authorities in their "Operation Idaho" campaign of prosecutions of people involved in crack cocaine distribution in Farrell and Sharon.

Jonathan L. "Tin" Summers admitted possessing 5 grams or more of crack with intent to deliver and delivering it Nov. 1, 2002, according to documents at the U.S. District Court, Pittsburgh.
