As he strolls on the sidewalk on the sprawling 300-acre campus of Hagerstown Community College, Merle S. Elliott points to the various buildings. It's not the buildings he wants visitors to know about. Rather, it's the goings-on inside. "Any kind of educational facility is useful,'' Elliott said. "But what we have to do is look at our local work force and talk with our employers and keep up with their needs.'' |
