Paving

Kris Fidram has lived in her Lawnview Road home in Hubbard Township since 1976. And she said she's wanted the gravel road paved "since 1976."

One of the worst things about the road, she said, is the puff of dust that trails cars as they drive down the street. That dust, she said, covers her cars' windows and gets the vehicles all dirty, especially during dry summer months.

And wintertime is no better, since snow plows dig up snow and gravel as they roll down the narrow street, leaving holes.

"We've been begging for years to get this street paved," she said. "(Township officials) promised all roads would be paved by the year 2000, but 2000 came and (some roads) still weren't done."
