Sharon police believe the suspect in a fatal shooting could still be in the area and that residents will provide them with the information they need to catch him.

Police Chief Thomas Burke said Wednesday afternoon that Michael Anthony Rogers, 29, whose last known address was Farrell, may just be lying low until he thinks authorities have let their guard down.

Rogers is accused of shooting to death Elliott Andre Campbell, 27, whose last known address was 300 Orange Drive, Hermitage. The shooting occurred Monday morning outside Styles Restaurant & Lounge, 396 E. Budd St.

Mercer County Crime Solvers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of Rogers.
