Reynolds Area School Board members Wednesday adopted a 2003-04 budget that raises taxes 4 mills. The board had projected a 6-mill tax hike and a $16.6 million proposal, but several cuts, including employee furloughs, took the budget down to $14.4 million. The spending plan will be supported by a property levy of 51 mills. At 51 mills, a home assessed at $10,000 would carry a tax bill of $510. |
