Imagine a mother leaving a doctor's office with a prescription for her sick baby. Now imagine that mother throwing the prescription away as soon as she walks out the door. Scenarios like that are what prompted Jeff Palmer, chief executive officer of Coordinated Care Network in Pittsburgh, to start a new way of helping people get the medicines they need. It's also what prompted executives at the Primary Health Network, Sharon, to become involved in the program. |
