Kim McNatt has been taking her three children to Buhl Farm park for a couple of years to see the geese and ducks.

"My kids have loved it," said Ms. McNatt of Hermitage. "And they love feeding them and looking at them."

Especially her 18-month-old son Gary.

"His first word was duck and he quacks at them," she said. "He loves coming here to see that stuff."

Not today he wouldn't. Buhl Farm Trustees have obtained a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to round up several dozen waterfowl that will ultimately end up on someone's dinner table.
