A 23-year-old Hermitage man has been charged with homicide by vehicle and other offenses for causing a May 31 traffic crash in which another city man died, police said. Seth A. Mikulin of 3576 Pleasant Drive was charged Monday with homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while driving drunk, drunken driving and driving on the wrong side of the road. Police said they have been talking with Mikulin's attorney, who told them Mikulin would turn himself in when police obtain an arrest warrant. The arrest warrant had not been obtained as of Monday, according to the office of Henry J. Russo, Hermitage, where the charge was filed. Mikulin is charged in the death of William Shannon, 72, of 685 N. Buhl Farm Drive. Mikulin was eastbound at 11:14 p.m. on Highland Road when his car crossed the center line and hit Shannon's westbound pickup head-on, police said. |
