While Lakeview School District's renovation is about 85 percent finished, there are a few problems that will need fixing, school directors learned Monday. And some of those fixes will cost a little extra money. Greer Hayden of Sharon-based HHSDR, the district's architect for the project, said new concrete floors in the high school music and art rooms are not level and need to be repaired, cabinet doors throughout the school seem to show some variation in color and several problems in the new high school gymnasium needing repairs include ceramic tile and a masonry wall. The wall is bowed and must be torn out and replaced, Hayden said. The problems, including the wall, are the contractor's worry, but some others that have been found may not be. |
