A Pittsburgh man who admitted having photographs of child pornography that were allegedly taken by a Pine Township man has been sentenced to 27 months in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Pittsburgh. Gerald E. Goebert, 49, pleaded guilty March 18 to possessing child pornography. Senior U.S. District Court Judge William L. Standish also sentenced Goebert to 3 years' supervised release after his prison term. Also charged in the case are Richard Carroll, 37, of 447 Irishtown Road, Pine Township, and Sharon Dorsch, 42, who lived with Goebert. Carroll is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, and Ms. Dorsch is charged with failing to notify authorities of a felony and accessory after the fact. They have pleaded not guilty. |
