Upgrade intended to resolve persistent pressure problem

By Amanda Smith-Teutsch

When Eilleen Clayton turns on her tap next year, she should have a steady, reliable stream of water coming from her home's pipes.

Mrs. Clayton's home at 20 Fredonia Road is in one of the areas the Greenville Municipal Authority has targeted for improvements.

"I don't drink the water from the tap," she said. "I use it for cooking, and it doesn't seem to do anything bad to the laundry."

The Claytons have lived on Fredonia Road for about seven years. Before that, they lived on Columbia Avenue in Greenville.
