Greenville Municipal Authority's board met behind closed doors Tuesday night to discuss bids it received on the potential sale of the entire water system.

Board President Dick Miller said the authority received bids from Consumers Pennsylvania Water Co. and Pennsylvania-American Water Co.

Miller said the board met in executive session to discuss negotiations for the sale.
