Bids for the Jamestown High School renovation were opened Wednesday afternoon, and if the low ones are accepted, the project will cost the school district about $7 million. In all, 21 bids were submitted for the general construction, heating/ventilation and cooling, plumbing, electrical and computer networking. The lowest bids totaled $7,091,277; the highest totaled $7,995,141. The school board set a spending cap on the project at $7.5 million. |
