to do work on building By Kristen Garrett Herald Staff Writer
Sharon school directors are trying to save money on an upcoming project by having their own employees do the work. Ralph Trenga, maintenance supervisor, said he believes his crew can do the general construction, electrical and plumbing work needed to get the building at 47 Forker Blvd. ready for students. The building will house the high school's Alternative Education Program. Directors Wednesday rejected $265,000 worth of bids for work to the building and parking lot. They also tabled a $52,715 bid from D&G Mechanical Inc., West Middlesex, for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. |
