Hundreds cheer
reservists' return

By Patrecka F. Adams

Linda Masters of Sharpsville wore dark shades as she and her three children stood just outside the hangar awaiting the 1 p.m. Friday arrival of her husband, Tech. Sgt. Gary Masters, at Youngstown Air Reserve Station.

It had been nearly four months since the family had touched him, but they didn't mind waiting a few more moments for the plane carrying their loved one to land.

While she waited for the C-130s to fly into Vienna, Mrs. Masters showed off the gold bracelet her husband had sent her for Mother's Day.

She said one thing she wasn't used to was her husband being gone so long.
