By Patrecka F. Adams Herald Staff Writer Recent disparities between results of the 2000 Census and actual household counts in some areas of Trumbull County have county officials taking a closer look at those areas. One major disparity that concerns officials is the latest West Hill income survey. The Census Bureau reported that 37 percent of the area was low to moderate income; however, the recent survey of the area showed that number to be 79.6 percent. "It's a little skewed and we're not sure exactly why," said Julie Green, a planner with the county planning commission. "The results of the income survey should've been a little closer to what the Census reported." |
