Waving his hand to be recognized, 14-year-old Kenny Zarecky had plenty of ideas to share about where he thinks Greenville and Hempfield Township should be headed over the next 10 or 20 years. And share them, he did. Dressed in his Boy Scout uniform and proudly displaying all the merit badges he'd earned, he didn't hesitate to offer his views on topics ranging from housing to water system problems to land values at Tuesday night's Joint Comprehensive Plan meeting. "A lot of my friends are interested in skate boarding and bike riding," Kenny said, noting there were few areas in Greenville where they could pursue their interests. "Maybe if there were bike trails or skate parks, people would stay." |
