for boys only By Larissa Theodore Herald Staff Writer
Lower property values and visions of "juvenile delinquents" terrorizing the neighborhood were the prime concerns of several Farrell residents who attended a planning commission meeting Tuesday to complain about an alternative school for boys moving into neighborhood. Crossroads Inc. in Farrell, which provides group home services and education for kids ages 13 to 18 with behavioral problems, requested approval to educate male students at 1301 Roemer, where its group home for boys is located. Having a school for boys would mean separate classes from the girls, who are taught directly across the street at 1242 Roemer. |
