Drivers and passengers from at least five vehicles, including a pair of tri-axle trucks, walked away with only minor injuries Thursday afternoon after what was described by Hermitage police as a "spectacular" crash at the intersection of state Route 18 and Lamor Road.

Sgt. Ron Antos said his first thought upon arriving on the scene at about 4:30 p.m. was the coroner would be needed, adding it was a miracle that nobody was seriously injured or transported to any local hospitals.
