Police
seek man who robbed
hotel

Hermitage police have only a clothing description to go on in the search for a man who robbed the Quality Inn, 3200 S. Hermitage Road, at 5:37 a.m. Friday.

The motel was previously the Premier Hotel and a Holiday Inn before that.

A clerk was in the office and heard pounding on a door, police said. Upon investigating the noise, the clerk saw a man with a revolver in his hand taking money from the cash drawer, police said.

The robber was black with a thick build and big shoulders, police said. He wore a light gray, hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his face, a gray scarf around his face and dark pants, police said.

The robber got away with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
