Wilt 'definitely' didn't vote for slots

State Rep. Rod Wilt did not vote in favor of a bill authorizing slot machines at 11 locations to raise money for property tax relief.

Based on a vote tally compiled by The Associated Press on Saturday, The Herald reported Sunday that Wilt voted for the bill.

The Sugar Grove Township Republican told The Herald he "definitely didn't vote for slots" during Saturday's House session.

"I voted 'no' on just about everything," Wilt said, referring to a series of votes authorizing slot machines at nine horseracing tracks in the state and two sites in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
