about future of the viaduct By Kristen Garrett Herald Staff Writer
Frustration is growing among Sharon council members as the Oakland Avenue Viaduct continues to lay dormant and half finished. Councilman Lou Rotunno said Thursday he wants Mercer County commissioners to attend their August meeting to answer questions about the fate of the viaduct. Rotunno said he expects the commissioners themselves to be there instead of sending Mercer County bridge engineer Mark Miller like they did for council's February meeting. In February Miller told council he expected work to resume on the viaduct at the end of March and be complete sometime in June. So far no work has been done and Rotunno said he wants to know why. |
