Man flown to hospital
after car, SUV collide

An Allegheny County man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital Saturday after a two-vehicle accident on North Hermitage Road -- state Route 18 -- near Edgewood Drive, Pymatuning Township police said.

Andrew P. Kosarik of Moon Township was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after his car rolled onto its passenger side in front of the Reynolds Plaza, police said. A nursing superviser said he was in stable condition at 6 p.m.

A passenger, Carol A. Kosarik, also of Moon Township, was taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville, police said, but a nursing supervisor said there was no record of treating her. UPMC Horizon no longer releases any information on its patients because of new federal privacy laws.
