Frank Vendemia has been working construction projects since his high school days.

When he teamed up with Rick Dickson, it proved to be a momentous decision that resulted in the creation of a thriving township construction company.

VendRick Construction, Inc., 367 Collar Price Road, provides general contracting, construction management and consulting services to public and private industrial and commercial construction entities in northeastern Ohio and western Pa.

VendRick has pulled in $4 million in contract sales for the last two years, said Vendemia, company president.

The two Brookfield men have been partners since 1993, and recently celebrated their company's 10th anniversary.

Vendemia, 34, said he started working for Dickson, vice-president, at D & D Construction Co., while studying civil engineering at Youngstown State University, but he started his own company after graduating.
