bicentennial Herald Staff Writer Many travelers down rural state Route 304 in Hubbard have seen the huge white barn with the state logo in the past year, but they might not realize what makes it so special. That barn, which dates back to the 1800s, was chosen to represent Trumbull County as a bicentennial barn. It sits on property located at 7763 E. Liberty St. Jim P. Marsh owns the barn and said he's delighted it was chosen to represent the county. "It's a big honor," the certified public accountant said. "It makes me feel good." At least one barn from each of the state's 88 counties was officially handpicked to be painted with the red, white and blue bicentennial logo. |
