Living Word Christian Center, Greenville, along with other area churches and businesses, is sponsoring the two-day event at Riverside Park in Greenville.

"We started this process back in January," Rev. Janet Chapin said. She and her husband are co-pastor and pastor, respectively, of Living Word.

"Everybody thinks there's nothing happening in Greenville, but that's not true," she said. "We're encouraged that more people are looking toward the more positive things."
