Charges have been filed in a deadly hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 14-year-old Hubbard teen in April. William Demidovich, 70, of Hubbard Township, pleaded not guilty before Trumbull County Judge W. Wyatt McKay on Friday to charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault, drunken driving and felony hit-skip, reports show. He was released after posting $50,000 bond. Hubbard High School student Kyrsten Studer and five other girls were walking to a bowling alley at 7:20 p.m. April 4 along state Route 304 when a reddish car swerved off the road and ran into the group, killing Kyrsten and injuring the other five, police said. The suspected vehicle was found at Demidovich's residence in Stoneybrook Mobile Home Park on Lewis-Seifert Road hours after the accident and impounded. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 10. ----------sty------> |
