Neighbor irked by new driveway

Some residents of Euclid and Rebecca avenues aren't very happy about a new neighbor cutting a driveway, but according to Grove City council, Scott Somora is within his rights.

"Point Loma is a private street which anyone has a right to use," said council member Karen Shaffer, who represents that ward. "He's just the one who decided to exercise that right."

Nellie Chanadet of Euclid Avenue complained to council that Somora cut his driveway right beside her property line. "Can't he move the driveway over far enough so I have a tree line or a fence?" she asked council Monday.

"Anyone is entitled to use it. We can't give it to you to fence," said council member Beth Cooney.
