Hermitage commissioners will introduce an ordinance next week that creates a new zoning district custom-made for the LindenPointe technical business park.

Officials came up with the planned technical park 2 zone to keep small professional offices out of LindenPointe, a joint venture between the city and KAKE Development Corp. on South Hermitage Road.

Permitted uses would include the production, design, assembly testing and repair of computer software and hardware, communication, navigation and transmission equipment, radio and television equipment, scientific, medical and chemical institutions, robotics operations, pharmaceutical production, assembly and packaging and corporate offices of 15,000 square feet or greater.
