Reynolds school directors withdrew from the Western Pennsylvania Schools Health Care Consortium on Wednesday, but the troubled insurance group will continue to provide coverage for school employees until January. A statement notifying the 12-member consortium of the district's departure was to be delivered by certified mail. Each member school district -- seven of which are in Mercer County -- will also receive a letter, along with a copy of the resolution. Superintendent Dr. Anthony Trosan said Sharon school district passed a similar resolution earlier this week. |
