A recent trip with the family to the Reynolds Drive-In proved to be a perfect vehicle for a trip down memory lane.

It had easily been a decade since my wife Bobbi and I had parked a car in the gravel and grass covered lot of the venerable state Route 18 outdoor theater.

So, more than 10 years, a wedding and two kids later, it was safe to say much had changed since we last graced the facility with our presence for a movie.

A high school classmate whom I hadn't seen in many years pulled in a couple of cars away the same night with his family to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Finding Nemo." Upon seeing me, Ed DeBonis remarked about the coincidence of us being at the drive-in together after having not seen each other for awhile, only under a bit different circumstances than in our high school days.
