Wheatland property owners can pick up preliminary housing rehabilitation applications at the borough building. Council is applying for another state housing rehabilitation grant for low- to moderate-income property owners. The preliminary applications will provide an assessment of eligible residents. Owners must meet income guidelines in order to be eligible for the grant. Income guidelines are as follows: » One person household up to $26,700 a year » Two person up to $30,550 » Three person up to $34,350 » Four person up to $38,150 » Five person up to $41,200 » Six person up to $44,250 » Seven person up to $47,300 » Eight person up to $50,350. Homeowners eligible for grant money would receive an allotment to fix their homes. Residents must have lived at their homes for five years and rental properties are not eligible. ----------sty------> |
