School board hires new business manager

Hermitage School Board has hired Monique Barber of Hermitage as its new business manager.

Ms. Barber, hired Monday, is a certified public accountant who has done school audits with accounting firm Black Bashor and Porsch, the district's auditing firm.

Superintendent Karen A. Ionta praised Ms. Barber's experience and communication skills.

The graduate of Westminster College, New Wilmington, starts Sept. 10 and will make $59,900.

She replaces Eugene Fornadel, who retired after 29 years.
