While the Rev. Jay Gunn doesn't believe there will be any problems, he wants people to understand that his church has given only conditional approval for Shenango Valley Faith Academy to locate there.

The consistory of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hermitage, said Sunday the school could start enrolling students, but the church still had two matters to settle: liability insurance and a lease.

"We don't expect any problems," said Rev. Gunn, church pastor, adding the consistory will meet Sunday and could give final approval then.

The Rev. Carl A. Nicklas, administrator and teacher at the school, said he is working on getting insurance and has sent the church a proposed lease.
