By Sherris Moreira-Byers Herald Staff Writer The charges against a Pittsburgh man accused of exposing himself during Victorian Days in Mercer were waived to Mercer County Common Pleas Court at the request of his attorney. Barry L. Ralph, 60, who also calls himself "reverend" according to court documents, was charged by Mercer police with indecent exposure, harassment and disorderly conduct. On July 20 he allegedly exposed himself to a couple doing a Christian puppet show and to some surrounding people, and used obscene language. Attorney Vera McAnulty of Pittsburgh said the claims against her client have to do with a lifestyle choice. In court documents, Ralph listed another man as his domestic partner. "The allegations made by the alleged victim seem to have been made for the sole purpose of making a point against sodomy," Ms. McAnulty said. |
