A woman will avoid significant jail time but will have to place flowers on a grave, write letters of apology and stop drinking after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a crash last year that killed a wrestling coach and left his pregnant wife in a coma.

But the unusual terms of her sentence may not be good enough for the coach's mother, Rosellen Moller of 69 Edgewood Drive, Transfer.

On June 15, 2002, Mrs. Moller's son, Glenn Clark, 38, was killed instantly when his 3,000-pound pickup truck was hit by a larger pickup driven by Jennifer Langston, 27, of Cabot, Pa. The accident also sent Clark's wife, Annette, 34, into an unresponsive coma. She was about two months' pregnant at the time.

The accident was so bad that by the time rescuers were able to free Clark's body from the wreckage, organ donation was out of the question for his heart; his eyes couldn't be salvaged either, his mother said.

According to court documents, Ms. Langston's blood alcohol level measured 0.11 about two hours after the crash. A driver is considered legally drunk with a reading of 0.10.

Ms. Langston was initially charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving at an unsafe speed, said Butler County District Attorney Tim McCune. Prosecutors said she was drunk and talking on a cell phone when her truck crossed the center line and hit the Clarks' truck head-on.
