By Patrecka F. Adams Herald Staff Writer A Scranton, Pa., man will spend time in prison after pleading guilty Friday to receiving stolen property over the summer in Brookfield. As part of a plea agreement, Robert H. Fox Jr., 42, was given a 10-month concurrent prison sentence on two fourth-degree felony counts of receiving stolen property, said Charles Morrow, assistant Trumbull County prosecuting attorney. At 10:59 a.m. July 17, someone at the Hollywood Lounge in Brookfield called police to tip them off about possible stolen construction equipment. The caller overheard Fox talking about selling equipment for a few thousand dollars and being in possession of a stolen truck, police said. Police said they found Fox in the lounge along with the keys to the truck. |
