3 face court in tattoo shop theft case

Charges against three people accused of stealing tattoo equipment and other items from Squirrelly's Skin Art Inc. were held to court Thursday morning.

But charges against a fourth defendant were dropped and that has his ex-girlfriend, who turned in the quartet, scared.

"I'm afraid he's going to vandalize my car or try to have someone come after me," said Jennifer Schuller, 19, of Sharon. She is a former girlfriend of Shane Catrucco, 24, formerly of Sharon, who had charges dropped against him by Assistant District Attorney Tim Bonner.

Two of the defendants testified Thursday before District Justice Lawrence T. Silvis that Catrucco was not involved in the theft.

Facing charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespassing and conspiracy in Mercer County Common Pleas Court are: Shawn Mihordin, 19, of 12 Applewood Lane, Mercer; Crystal L. Vaughan, 19, of 324 Brandy Springs Apartments, Mercer; and Lemeul "Lee" Pineiro-Malick, 21, of 2939 Tamarack Drive, South Pymatuning Township.
