With $35,000 of work already done on an emergency basis, James DeCapua hopes the remaining renovations at the Greenville Regional Lockup will take no more than $15,000.

That's how much DeCapua, as executive director of Mercer County Regional Council of Governments, has remaining from a $50,000 state grant for the work.

The emergency work, done by North American Businesses of Shenango Township, included electrical and plumbing work, widening the entranceway and replacing inoperable cell cameras.

The remaining work, for which bids will be received, includes painting, removing wallpaper and putting in new flooring.
