A Hermitage man who allegedly stuck a loaded handgun in a woman's mouth and threatened to kill her has allowed charges to proceed to court. Leon Levis, 30, of 1419 Selina Blvd., is charged with aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment and two counts of making terroristic threats. At 3:19 a.m. Oct. 5 at home, Levis put the 9 mm handgun in her mouth, causing a bloody and swollen lip, and said he would blow her head off, police said. He stipulated at a preliminary hearing that, if testimony were presented, prosecutors could show a crime occurred and he might have been involved. District Justice Henry J. Russo, Farrell, held all charges for court. Levis was released after posting $10,000 bond. |
