Chestnut Ridge Church of God, 7215 Chestnut Ridge Road, will celebrate its 100-year anniversary on Oct. 26.

Special events include a continental breakfast from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church, Sunday service from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with song performances and speakers, and a dinner at 1:30 p.m. in Brentford House, Hubbard. Songs and speakers will be included.

A 100-year commemorative cookbook will be given to each family, and can be purchased for $7 each after the celebration. Wooden church cut-outs will be available to those who ordered them. A time capsule also is being planned.

An outside banner and special inside banners will include the church's motto of "Living the Legacy, Achieving our Destiny."
