on evidence tampering

Two men wanted in the case of a slain Greenville man had their day in court Thursday.

Bruce Coxson, 46, of 6777 state Route 88, Vernon, Ohio, was arraigned Monday on a charge of tampering with evidence in the death of Charles Palm, 29. On Thursday, Coxson waived his preliminary hearing and his case was bound over to Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Coxson, who turned himself in last Friday, was returned to Trumbull County Jail in Warren after failing to post $100,000 bond.

The Ohio Highway Patrol interviewed Craig Kroner, 22, of 1392 Warner Road, Brookfield, at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged him with one count of tampering with evidence. He was arraigned Thursday morning.
