of killing neighbor By Joe Pinchot
Lori Chadwell-Kamensky probably will be subpoenaed to testify if the Charles Sarchet murder case goes to trial, but she said she would want to sit in on it anyway. "I want to see why he did it," she said of Sarchet, her former neighbor, who is accused in Hernando County, Fla., of killing another neighbor, Stuart Arlhuna. She likely will get her wish now that Sarchet, formerly of Wheatland, has been ordered sent back to Florida. Sarchet, 48, of Brooksville, Fla., was arrested July 31 at the Starlite Inn, Hermitage, by Hermitage and state police. He refused to waive extradition to Florida, forcing officials in Florida and Pennsylvania to create a long paper trail that led up to Mercer County Common Pleas Judge Michael J. Wherry's decision Tuesday. Public Defender Raymond Bogaty acknowledged that all the paperwork was in order to allow Florida authorities to take over custody of Sarchet. |
