Joseph Lapp was so close. Along with dozens of others, Lapp searched for his wife, 68-year-old Olgean "Ola" Lapp in the vicinity of his 620 Millburn Road, Springfield Township, home after she ran away from him Friday. Found Saturday morning in good health, Mrs. Lapp told her husband of 47 years that she was in a brush pile in a farm field when she saw him walk right past. Lapp chuckled, without a hint of anger as he told the story. "I figured I'd never see her again," he said. "I'm glad and I thank the Lord." Aside from Alzheimer's disease, Mrs. Lapp suffers from depression, which Lapp credited for her resolve to avoid detection. |
