A Stoneboro man is in a Pittsburgh hospital after a pickup truck crash over the weekend, police said.

Kenneth L. Walter, 31, is in fair condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, a spokesman said.

Police said Walter lost control of his pickup at 4 a.m. Friday while driving west on District Road in Fairview Township and it landed in a ditch.

Police said Walter was first taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

Fredonia volunteer firefighters and Life Force Ambulance personnel assisted at the scene.
