are dark blue The Greenville-West Salem Township police are sporting new uniforms. The new uniforms, which are "LAPD Blue," replace the old French blue and light blue uniforms the department wore until last week, said Chief Tom Strahler. "The old uniforms were getting too hard to find," Strahler said, "and when you could find them, they were expensive." "LAPD Blue" uniforms arrived last week. The color is a dark blue, almost black, Strahler said. Members of the force bought the uniforms out of their uniform allowances, Strahler said, so the change wouldn't cost the borough any additional money. |
