Herald Staff Writer Brendan Shollenberger said he got ready for class Wednesday morning thinking he was in for a typical day at Reynolds Junior-Senior High School. He was even looking forward to weightlifting after school. And the day was pretty normal. That is, until sixth period arrived. Brendan said he was just finishing up metal shop class when a teacher came in and said all students had to evacuate the building. "They said to go to the elementary school. I thought it was a fire drill, but I didn't hear any alarms," the 15-year-old sophomore said. What Brendan and many of the 700 other students at the school would soon learn is that the school had received a threat of some type shortly before 1 p.m. |
