One of the people elected to the Greenville Area School Board won't be able to serve because he no longer lives in Pennsylvania. Lawyer Timothy Blatt, who ran as a Republican, won 1,524 votes, according to Tuesday's unofficial results. That secured him a place on the board and edged out the sixth candidate for the five board seats, Rick Powers, by 500 votes. Blatt moved to Wyoming in October. His name could not be removed from the ballot in time for Tuesday's election. Blatt and Powers were the only candidates who did not cross-file for the primary.
