Although five candidates ran for five open seats on Greenville Borough Council, not all candidates got a seat on the board. Winners of the three four-year seats, according to Tuesday night's unofficial results, are: Pamela Auchter, with 553 votes; Theodore E. Jones, 583; and Robin S. Douglas, 651. Council will have to appoint two members to serve two two-year terms that were also on Tuesday's ballot. Mrs. Auchter and Mrs. Douglas won those seats but can't serve both two- and four-year terms. Mrs. Auchter said she'd decided to accept the four-year seat she'd won. Mrs. Douglas did not return calls for comment. |
