Details are still sketchy about what caused a traffic accident that killed a 21-year-old Pulaski man.

The crash occurred about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of South Hermitage Road in Hermitage, police said.

Nicklos Joseph Colatarci, 21, of state Route 208, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:54 a.m. by Mercer County Chief Deputy Coroner Dr. Charles Zeigler.

Zeigler said Colatarci was headed south when his car went off the east side of the road and hit a tree head-on.

An autopsy performed Saturday in Erie by forensic pathologist Dr. Eric Vey showed Colatarci died from blunt force trauma to the head and trunk, Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle III said.

Hermitage police did not have any additional information Saturday night.
